D-Link Router Login

Connecting to your D-Link router allows you to manage your WiFi network, including changing the SSID, password, and other router settings. Follow this guide to log in and secure your network.

Requirements to Log In

How to Log in to D-Link Router Admin Panel

  1. Connect your device to the D-Link router using WiFi or Ethernet.
  2. Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press Enter. You can also use http://dlinkrouter or http://dlinkrouter.local.
  3. The D-Link login page will appear. Enter your username and password. By default, the username is admin and the password field is blank.
  4. If you have changed the credentials, use your custom login details. Default credentials are also usually printed on the label at the back or side of your router.
  5. Click Login to access the Admin Panel. From here, you can manage all router and WiFi settings.

How to Change Your D-Link WiFi SSID

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel using the method above.
  2. Go to Wireless Settings > Manual Wireless Network Setup.
  3. In the Wireless Network Name/SSID field, enter your new SSID.
  4. Click Save Settings to apply the changes. Note that all previously connected devices will be disconnected and will need to reconnect using the new SSID.

How to Change Your D-Link WiFi Password

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel using the steps above.
  2. Navigate to Wireless Settings > Manual Wireless Network Setup.
  3. Scroll to Wireless Security Mode and select WPA-2.
  4. In the Pre-Shared Key field, enter your new WiFi password (8-63 characters including letters, numbers, and special symbols).
  5. Click Save Settings to confirm. Your router will reboot and all previously connected devices will be disconnected.
